The founders of this country had a strong belief in personal liberty and independence. It was not by accident that perhaps the most important document in this country's history is entitled The Declaration of Independence. More than a functional title, our founders chose this title to communicate the essence of their ideals without even requiring the document to be read.
We now have a President who is trying to rewrite the American ideal. Every day, by his actions, Barack Obama is penning the words to the Declaration of Dependence. Dependence on the government. For everything.
The disillusioned, deceived, and dependent voted this man into office. Because they are already in the state of dependence they feel a level of comfort with Obama that they have never felt with any previous President. He is their man because they are already his. The pathetic fawning of the popular media shows them to be similarly dependent.
This spirit of downtrodden dependence would be anathema to the founders of this great country. They would not understand America as it is today, filled with soft, weak minded drones who only live for entertainment and the moment.
We need to recapture the original inspiration of our founders and once again become a people of independance. Independence is the reason for the founding of this country, and the spirit of independence, manifesting itself through us, can, once again, make this nation great.

Electric cars and Cap and Trade
Today Obama was speaking to an electric car company, bragging about how the "stimulus" bill provisioned 2.4 billion for the development of batteries that will power hybrids and electric vehicles. As usual, it's a case of Obama talking out of both sides of his mouth.
For those who don't understand the irony of Obama being at the electric car company talking about this issue, allow me to elaborate.
Obama is pretending to support electric cars, however he actually wants them to fail. How, you might ask? In the very same stimulus bill he refered to, Obama also enacted Cap and Trade legislation. Why is Cap and Trade important to electric vehicle manufacturors?
Here's the dirty, big, not so secret. American's are dependant on these stinky, polluting power plants that burn coal and oil to maintain the electrical grid infrastructure. These plants are the base of the power grid. Renewable energy sources are only ancillary providers that occasionally contribute to America's power consumption.
This is what happens, Obama encourages electric vehicles and people buy them. Then they discover they can't drive them because the Cap and Trade legislation has made electricity too expensive for people to charge their cars because it is the coal power plants that have to charge the vehicle batteries. Renewables are unable to cope with the new drain on the infrastructure, so they really don't help reduce any cost, nor do they help the pollution problem.
However, Obama is happy because people have replaced their gas and desil cars with electric cars that they can't afford to drive. This increases the revenues to the government from the Cap and Trade program, and it also reduces the cost of maintaining roads and bridges because of less traffic on them. The rest of us are miserable. Welcome to the grand socialist society. It gets better every day.

Obama proves he's a manipulator - again
March 19th, Obama in a speech to an electric car company in Orange County said, "The 1908 Model T -- think about this -- the 1908 Model T earned better gas mileage than the typical SUV in 2008. Think about that -- a hundred years later and we're getting less gas mileage, not better, on SUVs."
Obama can't possibly believe what he's saying here. He must not have pre-read what the teleprompter was printing for him, because his statement above just doesn't make sense. It's a totally disingenuous attempt at manipulating people.
The 1908 Model T, according to Wikipedia, had a 20 horsepower engine and a top speed of 45 miles an hour on a down hill with a tail wind. It was a mostly open carraige vehicle with no air-conditioner and a manual transmission.
2008 SUVs are generally 200-300hp engines that can pull a boat at 70mph while carring 7 passengers and blasting full, cold AC to all the occupants. There is no possible comparison to an old Model T except that the vehicles both have internal combustion engines and are designed to carry people.
Undoubtedly Obama would have thought of this if he'd proof-read his speech, which brings us to one of two depressing conclusions. Either he trusts his speech writer enough to never double check what he's going to be saying, which is irresponsible, lazy, and unbecoming of a President of the United States, or he knows exactly what he's saying and goes full bore anyway, purposefully deceiving the American people in order to push his own agenda.
Fortunately Obama's low-brow speech manipulation tactics don't work on people who possess even average intelligence and who are willing to give more than a passing thought to his words. Unfortunately, it seems that the majority of American's these days are so intellectually lazy that they don't bother to waste a brain cell on what Obama is saying and hence just follow him willy-nilly because they only hear the flowery words without bothering to understand them.
Please wake up America. You are following a communist who wants to reshape the United States into the next Venezuala. Unless you want to start waiting in line for basic health care, unless you want to start paying 70% of your income to the government, unless you want to start languishing in the poor house in your old age...WAKE UP, LISTEN, AND STOP FOLLOWING BARAK OBAMA!!!

Teleprompter King
For those wondering why Obama can't seem to do without the teleprompter, I am here to enlighten you. Before I elucidate, let me point out the fact that no other President in history has relied so heavily upon the teleprompter. Obama fans should be wondering about that fact. Others have noticed and weakly tried to explain it away. I will now give you the true reasons why Obama is the Teleprompter King.
Obama must use a teleprompter because the words he speaks are not his own. This fact may come as a shock to some Obama acolites, but to those of us not so easily swayed by the words of a smooth salesman, it is realitively clear. Only a person who has nothing to say themself relies so heavily upon others to put words into their mouth. Obama is merely the voice of a more powerful and clever group who wish to remain out of the limelight. Why they chose Obama is beyond me, because once he goes off script he comes off as a stuttering high schooler on his first date. Quite honestly, President Bush was far more eloquent when unaided by a teleprompter than Obama.
Obama's halting speech is a classic symptom of not knowing what to say because the message is not his in the first place. If he says something of which his controllers don't approve, he runs the risk of loosing their backing support without which he never would have been elected. Anyone who believes Obama was able to get himself elected is deceiving themselves. There is obviously a hugely powerful organization backing Obama, coordinating his message, controlling the media conglomerates, and organizing internet participants.
Obama cannot speak without a teleprompter because he has no principles undergirding his beliefs. He is told what to believe and what message to present and he is able to do this only with mechanical aid. Once he is deprived of his 'prompter he has to try to articulate his own position which obviously doesn't match the image he is told to portray. He attempts to be Reganesque when his inner person is more like Karl Marx. This was evident by his slip with Joe the Plumber. His true colors came shining through when he told Joe he wanted to redistribute wealth to everyone. He is told to act as a moderate when he is really a communist at heart. I say he has no principles because he will lie through his teeth to make people believe him, then he'll turn right around and do the opposite of what he said. He will be whoever, or whatever he needs to be to get his own way. He is a spoiled brat. This is evident by his habit of continually blaming the past administration for the current state of the country. If he didn't want to take America on his back he should've never entered the race for Presidency. Grow up and be a man Obama, your country is in desperate need of it.
The third reason Obama must have a teleprompter is so that he can ensure that his current lies match his past lies. It is claimed by some that he stays on message better than anyone. Sooner or later all of his lies to the American people will catch up to him. He is perhaps the greatest liar to ever reach the top executive position in the country and this is impressive when comparing him to Bill Clinton. The problem with lying is that your current lies must match your past lies, and eventually discrepancies pop up and the whole thing falls apart. Conservatives can take comfort in this fact. When a Presidency is based upon lies, the truth will come out and will set us free.
In conclusion I would invite everyone to compare Obama with the great Ronald Regan. Regan had deeply held principles that were the basis of his entire belief system. With or without teleprompter Regan's message was clear and consistent. America may never see a more capable leader, able to inspire millions to be better than they were. We owe much to Ronald Regan in showing how a true leader bears the burdens and responsibilities of his office. For now, we must suffer the poor attempts of a flailing wanna be.

Obama - Prepare for the worst
Conservatives, like myself, now stand with a rueful gaze at the country that is selling itself to the Marxists. President Obama has clearly shown his true colors in these few weeks following the inauguration, and all of us who tried to warn the rest of you can't even get the satisfaction of an 'I told you so.'
Barack Obama is already the worst president ever to take office in the United States and he's only held the office for three weeks. He is responsible for putting our country farther in debt than any other President in history.
To those who want to blame the past administration, I politely point you to the report of the Congressional Budget Office that says this country would be better to do nothing, than to pass the "stimulus" package. The responsibility lies solely with the democrats and Obama, and hopefully Americans, true Americans, will make them pay dearly in the next election.
Not 1 senator who voted for the package could have even possibly read the entire bill, so nobody who voted for the package can possibly claim an honest patriotic reason for passing the "stimulus" bill. Everyone who voted for the package hates America and future Americans. Actions not words display true feelings. President Obama and the democrats just outed themselves.
I hope that you who voted for Obama are proud of your man. The man who has just robbed your children of trillions of dollars. Elections have consequences and you irresponsible people who voted him in are about to get more socialism than you ever wanted.
Next time just move to France.
